centurion Posted 11 June , 2011 Share Posted 11 June , 2011 I've the opportunity of picking up a length of rifle calibre cartridge cases joined with metal clips. The head stamps contain 92 and the individual letters T & S (or S & T). There about 40 cases in the 'belt' The general shape is similar to the 303 but they don't look long enough. Any ID please before I part with my dosh ?
TonyE Posted 11 June , 2011 Share Posted 11 June , 2011 Can you post a picture,C? Judging by the date of 1992 they are probably 7.62 NATO cases but I don'r recognise the headstamp. If they are NATO cases they will be 51mm long. Regards TonyE

TonyE Posted 11 June , 2011 Share Posted 11 June , 2011 It could be Japan, but it is definitely not French (wrong format) and it certainly is not ROF Steeton since that was WW2 only. I will look into it further, but we can be assured it is not WWI! Can you remember the format of the headstamp? 3 x 120 degrees? Regards TonyE
