Arcade (we call it "de galge") at 't Couthof (castle between Poperinge and Proven).

It was build as an orientation point in the garden of the Baron in the 19th century.

That arcade was build in the labyrint in the garden of the Baron.

But local people called it "De galge" (the gallow) because of the known judiciary power of the Baron...

Talking about fear and imagination... :blink:
