Researching a local chap who died of wounds with the 10th Lancashire Fusiliers 18th October 1918, does anyone have any info from war diary or Regimental History etc that may give info of where/what the Battalion was engaged in near the time of his death, anything appreciated, Geoff

I suspect that he was a casualty of the battalion's action at Neuvilly that began on 12 October. I have the diary but the entry for this action runs to several pages. Happy to email a copy. Drop me a PM with your email address.

Hi

PM me your email address and I'll try to scan information from the history for the attack on Neuvilly on the River Selle on 12th October, the action in which he could have received his fatal wounds

Regards

Martin
