This (inert) cartridge was made in July 1917 of 67% copper. That's as far as I go! The manufacturer's ident beats me. Anyone seen this logo before? Looks to me like a combination of "9" "M" and "F".

PMF (Pulver u. Munitionsfabrik, Dachau) is the maker - S.W.
