JimSmithson Posted 7 May , 2011 Share Posted 7 May , 2011 John Unfortunately, 2 Duke of Wellingtons is not online so there may be a shortage of folk out there who have copied /photographed it at Kew. For reference it is WO95/1508. My next time in Kew I will be covering 4th Division but I'm afraid I have no idea when that will be. 1505 and 1506 are online so why not the rest I have no idea. J Banning Posted 7 May , 2011 Share Posted 7 May , 2011 I have the relevant sections of a volume entitled ‘A Gentleman at War’ compiled and written by the grandson of Lt Col Alfred Horsfall DSO, 2/DWR. It uses Horsfall's detailed notes and is held in the IWM Dept of Documents ref: 06/30/1. It is well worth a read. He describes this period of battle very well.
