sandyford Posted 23 July , 2004 Share Posted 23 July , 2004 This year when I visited the Flanders battlefield, I was able to visit on the actual day of the week as well as the date and month on which the battle occurred although it was 89 years ago and not a nice round anniversary. Somehow the same day of the week made it seem even more special. My own wedding anniversary also occurred on the same day of the week as the actual wedding. My husband started to explain it with a lot of dividing by 4 and also 7. I gave up after a while but no doubt one of the above sites would have helped. stubriscoe Posted 16 November , 2006 Share Posted 16 November , 2006 I constructed a calendar for my own use, as I wanted to check days of the week etc., and thought I would share this. This thread seemed the most appropriate to attach this to. It is a text file, to make it small, but it should be easy to reformat if anyone wants to tidy this up for printing etc. Covers January 1914 to December 1918, and shows days of the week.
