Hi

Just received a photo of my great uncle,he has the signaller flags on his lower left sleeve, and a diamond patch on the upper left sleeve,it is slightly darker than the khaki, does anyone have any idea what this patch is?

He is possibly in york and lancaster regiment although the cap badge is a blur.

regards shane

A lot of units wore a diamond patch, and without more info or a picture it will be extremely difficult to identify.
