H M T B No 90

Can anyone supply an imformation concerning H M T B No 90 which was lost on the 25th April 1918. A member of the crew was Able Seaman Frederick Norman Dodds who had a service No. Tyne/Z/9079 This data comes from the CWGC site.

Hi

According to Janes 1919 She capsized in heavy weather in the Straits of Gibraltar 25th April 1918.

Hi

The only additional information in "British Vessels Lost at Sea 1914-18 and 1939 -45" is :-

130 tons displacement and Completed in November 1895

HMTB 88,89,90, built by Yarrow 1894/5, 112 tons TB88,89, 100 tons TB90, Armed with 3 x 3 pounder guns and 3 x 14 inch torpedos. All served at Gibralter 1914-1918, TB88,89 sold 1919, TB90 capsized off Gibralter 25th April 1918.
