Can anyone help identify these patches/stripes shown below.....I've had them sent to me by a friend, they belong to his grandfather who was in the East Yorkshire Regiment, 11th Batt'n

regards

Tom

Tom

The two red bars are the battalion sign for 11th East Yorks and pairs were worn at the top of both sleeves with the bars vertical, the other patch identifies 92nd Brigade and was worn on the back just below the collar, red to the top.

Mike, thank you very much for the information you have supplied, it is much appreciated. They come from the uniform of G Rust MM & Bar, 11th EYR...

best regards

Tom
