i found a wee article today about a relative of mine, not connected to ww1 as he fought in ww2, however looking at other publications on the site i found another wee article, might be of use to some on here

This is the article about my family member, i have been tracing his father who was in the gordon highlanders

Did you find out any details ref Gordon Highlanders?

I managed to get a MIC card and service/pension record of ancestry, through the good folk on here i have managed to piece together his movements through 1914-1918.

Thanks for the reply,I am helping to research the Co Armagh War Memorial and any local items of interests,in the Great War.

The Gordons is also one of my own area,s of research as I had relatives in the Gordons,I also came across a Lowry from Glenanne who was in the Great War.

was your relative from P/Pass and was he a relative of Jimmy?
