What were the facing colors of the Gurkha Rifles on their dress uniforms of 1914? Thanks Dr B It varies a little from regiment to regiment. The 2nd Gurkha Rifles, for example. followed the tradition of the 60th Rifles (as they fought side by side in the Mutiny) and had red facings and trims. Others were usually dark green, or black.
