He was born in 1884 in Northowram near Halifax and later lived in Staincliffe, Dewsbury. There are 3 possibilities on MIC cards but of course these would not give his personal details. MelPack Posted 22 March , 2011 Share Posted 22 March , 2011 Peter There are surviving service papers for the James Edward Spivey of the ASC T220429 born 1884 and living at 334 Harrogate Road, Eccleshill, Bradford as a Derby enlistee in December 1915.
