In particular would this soldier`s N.O.K have been give one? In Memory of Private JOHN MARTIN 20575, 1st Bn., Oxford and Bucks Light Infantry who died on 02 October 1919 Remembered with honour DELHI WAR CEMETERY Gordon. In particular would this soldier`s N.O.K have been give one? Basically yes, deaths up until 1921 (essentially the same rules for qualification of a CWGC commemoration) counted. Canada in many cases was an exception, and issued plaques to men who had died from effects attributable to the war for many years after this cut-off.
