Africa photographs A cursory glance shows there are some photos of World War One vintage including this one of General von Lettow Vorbeck surrendering at Abercorn on 25 November 1918. Vorbeck surrenders p5 in the Kenya section has quite a few photos from German East Africa which arguably should be in the Tanzania section. The BBC website article on the photos has a picture captioned Nigerian troops going to East Africa circa 1901 to 1941 (!). There could be more like this buried amongst all the images.
