I have a copy of "REGIMENTS : Regiments & Corps of the British Empire & Commonwealth 1758-1993 : A Critical Bibliography of their Published Histories" by Roger Perkins. Very useful for details of regimental histories of the more obsure colonial regiments.

If anyone would like anything looking up, please let me know.

Hi Christine.

I can't find anything on Fiji in the Great War. There are several books relating to Fiji in WW2, let me know if you'd like me to post details about them.

Cheers

Nothing on "196th Western Universities Battalion" (One of the few CEF Bns that doesn't get a mention).

For the MMGB's it lists

"Canadian Motor Machine Gun Brigade : With the British Fifth Army, March-April, 1918" by Lt-Col William K Walker DSO MC. Ottawa 1957. A very brief account by the officer who commanded the Bde (consisting of four companies). Little detail but many officers named in the text. Roll of honour for officers killed or wounded.

Hope this helps.

Cheers..
