post-36779-059456200 1296693388.jpg I would be grateful for some help identifying the uniform of the man in the image. The only clue I have is that he might be a great-uncle who served in the 43rd Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force, a unit that was known as the Cameron Highlanders of Canada, but this might be completely wrong.

Looks like Liverpool Scottish to me given his sporran badge.

10th Battalion, The Kings (Liverpool) Regiment.

Is it me or does the sporran badge in the photo have the horse rearing in the opposite direction?

Many thanks for the very useful information. My father's family were from the Liverpool/Seacombe/Birkenhead area so a Liverpool regiment makes sense. There are two great-uncles who might fit the bill, William Smith and Bernard (Barnie) McDonald so I'll get on their trail. My father thinks he had the horse badge when he was a kid.
