Terry Denham Posted 15 January , 2011 Share Posted 15 January , 2011 CWGC added the following WW1 casualty to their database today. Sjt George SCOTT 72345 Royal Field Artillery Died 21.03.18 Age 25 Commemoration: France (1914-1918) Memorial, Berks, UK NOT FORGOTTEN The above was an In From the Cold Project case (Volunteer: Diane Shakespeare). Sjt Scott was killed in action. IFCP submitted Sjt Scott’s case in 2009 but CWGC informs me that he was also submitted by someone else independently. So congratulations are due to that person for his/her efforts (the person’s name is unknown to me). Better to have two attempts at getting proper commemoration than none at all!
