Denisrrigg Posted 8 January , 2011 Share Posted 8 January , 2011 Hi I have some limited information as a start. The 17th Sherwood Foresters (Welbeck Rangers) were part of 117th Brigade in 39 Division. I'm researching the 225th Fld Coy RE who were also part of 39 Division and this is the source of my info (I have the 225th war diary). 225th were attached to 117 Bde from late Sept to mid Nov. on 3rd Sept 1916:- 116th & 117th Bde attacked North of Thiepval. on 14th Oct 1916:- 117 Bde attacked Schwaben redoubt on 13th Nov 1916: - 117 Bde attcked St Piere Divion I'm sure there will be others with much greater knowledge and info but hope this helps.
