On the Silver War Badge Roll could some one tell me what AR 'W' stands for which is placed under York .L.I in the corps box and also what Action Taken List 0/2134/2 means. Thanks.

It means Army Reserve Class W. For details see half way down this page: http://www.1914-1918.net/reserve.htm

0/2134/2 is the reference to the roll and page on which his details appear. This is held at the National Archives, where it is known as reference WO329/3142.

(By the way to avoid any confusion what you have is not a roll, but an index card).

Attached is a section of O/2134/2, I assume that L/Cpl Bennett is your man as the rest of the men on this page had different causes of discharge. Steve
