priv Posted 27 December , 2010 Share Posted 27 December , 2010 Well - another stroke of luck today. Dropped in to a local Antiques Centre earlier - where I have obtained an Officer's Plaque the other week to a man in the 17th Liverpool and since my last purchase - the cabinet had been added to with a brass capbadge and a silver capbadge as given to the original members by Lord Derby. Hoovered the pair up for £ 31 which I understand is pretty good ! Now just need to wait to see if the medals trundle along later ! priv

priv Posted 28 December , 2010 Author Share Posted 28 December , 2010 P.B and Bruce - yes ! I found the plaque the other week and was amazed. The brass badge is original and the silver badge is corretly hallmarked for 1914 ! I think I have a little gem here - not least becasue I can "connect" them to the plaque. priv

priv Posted 4 January , 2011 Author Share Posted 4 January , 2011 Dan - Missed the Lottery this weekend - but went back to the same centre and picked up a Princess Mary Bullet Pencil for £ 20 ! This amongst some really overpriced stuff. priv
