Hi, can anyone tell me which countries sheilds are represented on the reverse of the Belgium Victory Medal. The top is RF, presumably Republic of France but what about the others starting at France & working round clockwise.

Hi,

According to the book, and I quote:-

"The reverse has the Arms of Belgium in the centre, surrounded by a laurel wreath, outside this is a ring of nine shieldsof the principal allies superimposed on two oak branches; starting at the top and moving clockwise, these are: France,USA,Japan,Rumania,Brazil,Serbia,Portugal,Italy, and Great Britain. Outside these is the usual inscription, in Flemish and French."

I hope this is what you require,

Robert
