Guest curator Posted 17 June , 2004 Share Posted 17 June , 2004 My grandfather William Denton (2nd Bn Middlesex Regt) was involved in an action east of Arleux on 27th September 1917. ypres Posted 17 June , 2004 Share Posted 17 June , 2004 Hi, Welcome, Go to the mother site (top of page, Long Long Trail) follow Grandads War and that should help you in how to trace etc. I haven't tried it yet but kbow that many users here on the forum have and found it most helpful, Also you might want to ask in Units and Formations if anyone has the diaries for the Middlesex and they will look it for you.
