Whistler Posted 21 November , 2010 Share Posted 21 November , 2010 My father sold all my Grandfathers medals in Australia which has always been a sore point with me!.My grandfather was when he retired Major F.J.Coplin MBE,worked his way up from a private and was personal assistant to the C in C India who I believe was Lord Birdwood at the time (may be wrong)>I have a note from Lord Birdwood to my Pop which is why I assumed it may have been him!. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how I may be able to trace the medals or has a contact in Australia that may have some clue how to ,cos I aint!!.
