The Austrian GebK 15 had a flat shield, no curve over the wheels. It had 12 spoke wheels and the the barrel & recuperator were level at the muzzle end.

I think you're right. Here's the Rheinmetall 7.7cm Gebirgskanone L/17 M1915 in Turkish service. Looks like the same gun, without the shield.
