jfskinner Posted 22 October , 2010 Share Posted 22 October , 2010 I'm trying to learn more about my grandfather's service history. He joined the RFA in, I think, 1914. He went across to France on September 21st 1915 and I believe he was with a RFA brigade (maybe 116th) attached to 26th Division. Shortly after they were shipped out to Salonika. My family memories are that he suffered badly from dysentry (probably like most others) and I attach a photograph of him in, I believe, a hospital in Salonika (at least that's what we've always believed it to be). He is seated at front right. Any feedback from the forum members would be great. Maybe someone recognises others in the photoraph (maybe the nurse !).
