Lt Harold GILL

Royal Garrison Artillery

Died 22.07.21

Commemoration: Brookwood (United Kingdom 1914-1918) Memorial, Surrey, UK

Pte John HUSBAND

S/4323 1st Bn, Black Watch (Royal Highlanders)

Died 21.09.17 Age 37

Commemoration: Brookwood (United Kingdom 1914-1918) Memorial, Surrey, UK

Gnr Robert Miller SUTHERLAND

996 Royal Field Artillery

Died 11.07.16 Age 26

Commemoration: Brookwood (United Kingdom 1914-1918) Memorial, Surrey, UK

NOT FORGOTTEN

The above (except Pte Archer) were In From the Cold Project cases.

- Lt Gill died on leave of unknown causes (Volunteer: Diane Shakespeare)

- Pte Husband died post-discharge due to gunshot wounds to the chest

(Volunteer: Mark Duffy). Pte Husband’s grave has been found in Perth so this will be amended in due course.

- Gnr Sutherland died post discharge of rheumatic fever and heart condition

(Volunteer: Jim Grant)

Courtesy of TWGPP the grave of Gunner Sutherland has been found at Edinburgh Eastern Cemetery
