amb Posted 8 October , 2010 Share Posted 8 October , 2010 I have two photographs of as yet unidentified ancestors and wondered whether anyone could help with the identification of the uniforms. That would help place them date-wise. I would guess they are pre-WW1, in which case this may not be the most appropriate place to ask for help. However, I know there are some extremely knowledgeable members of this site and I am hoping someone can at least point me in the right direction. Many thanks in anticipation. centurion Posted 8 October , 2010 Share Posted 8 October , 2010 The style of photocard mounting says 1880s. I have a number of cards of relatives dating from this period mounted on similar cards.
