Patrick Geraghty

Hello,

Does anyone have any information regarding my great grandfather Patrick Geraghty. The only record I've been able to find is his memorial scroll which states that he was a quarter master sergeant in the Prince of WalesNorth Staffordshire Regiment (Number: 8807) and that he died on 5 July 1918 at the age of 45 at home. The rumour within our family is that he died in a Scarborough military hospital following wounds incurred in battle. Unfortunately, I've not been able to find his service record, and was told that many service records were destroyed in a fire towards the end of WWII.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Adrian Boughey
