Guest boughey Posted 5 October , 2010 Share Posted 5 October , 2010 Hello, Does anyone have any information regarding my great grandfather Patrick Geraghty. The only record I've been able to find is his memorial scroll which states that he was a quarter master sergeant in the Prince of WalesNorth Staffordshire Regiment (Number: 8807) and that he died on 5 July 1918 at the age of 45 at home. The rumour within our family is that he died in a Scarborough military hospital following wounds incurred in battle. Unfortunately, I've not been able to find his service record, and was told that many service records were destroyed in a fire towards the end of WWII. Any help would be much appreciated. Kind Regards, Adrian Boughey
