I am looking for the service record of Henry Albert Moore (my Grandfather), I have a copy of his medal card. On that it has Moore. Henry A. Lan Fus, Lab C, Rank: Private, Reg No. 50714 471651. He joined up at the age of 17/18 and I think he got shot quite early on in the war. He was invalided out of the army. He carried the shrapnel in his body for the rest of his life, he lived till he was 81 and died in 1979, he came from and lived in Princetown, Devon. I would also like to find out when and where in France he was shot, if it was in France. If anyone can help or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Many Thanks Daphne Fairbrother
