Remembered Today:

Sgt. George Gallagher DCM MM

Recommended Posts

I have seen a family headstone including the name as above, but with no reference to regiment or corps. He died in 1923.

Can anyone please help with more details. I have been unable to track the author of the Forum's thread with access to all DCM citations.

I suspect Gallagher might be RAMC, but cannot go firm without more to back me up.

Thanks for those two links. Both show Liverpool as his home city which fits in with a family grave here. I can now link this with a DCM citation in the LG, for gallantry at Hooge in August 1915.
