Could anyone tell me where this particular Battalion was in April 1917 please? Consulted the Long, Long Trail and found they were part of 57th Division north of LE TILLELOY. I don't seem to be able to find this location on Google Maps, then again I'm rubbish with maps! smile.gif

Cheers

South-East of Laventie.

50 deg 37' 00" N

2 deg 48' 24" E

halfway between le Picantin and Fauquissart.

NW of Aubers village and WNW of Fromelles.

57th Div was on the left hand end of II ANZAC Corps and also of Second Army.

Simon.
