I have just bought a trio to a 2678 Pte R Goodhall of the L. N. Lan. Regt.

On searching the National Archives, for his MIC there appears to be no record it.

Is this a common occurrence, where else might I find out about him?

many thanks

His MiC is on Ancestry.

He enlisted on 5.8.14 and was discharged sick on 22.7.16, "sickness para 392 xvi

I have no idea what the relevant sickness was, but hope this helps.

He has two MICs on NA site...

Medal card of Goodhall, Robert

Corps: Loyal North Lancashire Regiment

Regiment No: 2678

Rank: Private...

1914-1920 WO 372/8

Medal card of Goodhall, Robert

Corps: Loyal North Lancashire Regiment

Regiment No: 2678

Rank: Private

1914-1920 WO 372/8

and also the same two on Ancestry, one for the SWB which Bruce has found and another for the 1914/15 Star trio which states he went overseas to France on 4th January 1915.

Regards

Steve

Thank you Bruce and Steve. Much appreciated. I have not explored the Ancestry route, perhaps I should look into it.
