Michael Posted 10 March , 2003 Share Posted 10 March , 2003 I've just discovered the Absent Voters List for my village. It makes fantastic reading and I've added another 80 names for my research. One of the guys on the list was already killed in action before the election and I wondered whether his proxy vote would have been counted. If so, how many dead men voted in the 1918 election ?
