Eric Posted 9 March , 2003 Share Posted 9 March , 2003 Hello all of you. I’m gathering material so as to write an article in tribute to the men buried in a French cemetery in Alsace, who were mostly British except a South African. Most of them died in German hospitals in Alsace and here is what I’m looking for : when and where were these men wounded and / or made prisoners ? You may be able to answer these questions if you have the unit histories of the units they belonged to. All of them are in the French Military Cemetery of Plaine, some 40 kilometres south-west of Strasbourg. Here are their names. Thank you very much in advance. Eric Mansuy, France. ASTON F.
