MickLeeds Posted 14 August , 2010 Share Posted 14 August , 2010 Is this your man ? The only Frederick Charles Sanders I can find. Medal Index Card from Ancestery; 21/R Fus PS/6882 11th Lancs Fus 2nd Lt France 14/11/1915 1915 Star/BWM/Victory Medal Commisioned 2nd Lt 4/8/1916. On the 1911 Census he's a musician L/Cpl with the 3rd Bn Royal Fusiliers posted at Vacoas, Mauritius. The 1911 census has him born in Salford, Lancs but the newspaper reports him as being an 'Astonian' ?
