garywilson1972 Posted 9 August , 2010 Share Posted 9 August , 2010 I would appreciate any help on the movements of the 10th Inniskilling Fusiliers in August 1917. Are there copies of regimental diaries available online etc??? My family interest relates to Private William Lunney, buried in New Irish Farm Cemetery outside Ypres. William was killed on 10th August 1917 and I'm wondering if there is any possibility of establishing his exact whereabouts (or that of the 10th Inniskillings in general) at the time of his death. rob elliott Posted 17 August , 2010 Share Posted 17 August , 2010 Gary, William Lunney was 9th Inniskillings not 10th. But for whatever reason he has been missed out of the roll for the 9th men in their unofficial history 'A wheen of medals' by Bill Canning.
