Remembered Today:

WW1 1915 Trios

Good morning All,

I hope I'm not falling foul of Forum advertising rules (as I do have a connection with one of the firms) but 2 local East Yorkshire auction firms each have a set of WW1 Trios for sale this coming Saturday 7th August. Dee Atkinson and Harrison I think have their sale in the morning (Driffield) and Chris Clubley & Co have theirs in the afternoon (Melbourne).

Both firms don't often have medals for sale and I thought local members maybe interested to know of their inclusion.

Hi Steve,

might be a bit late with this one but do you happen to know the recipients names?

David

Sorry for the late reply, i've just got back from the Clubleys sale. The trio went for £110 (I think) and was awarded to 17/155 Pte Charles Harold Smith, 17th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers (NER Pioneers). I didn't go to Dee Atkinson Harrison's sale and can't remember the name of the recipient of "their" trio ( they have an online catalogue, I think he was RAMC)
