Guest cronk11 Posted 4 August , 2010 Share Posted 4 August , 2010 I have a painting of my grandfather Harold Scott wearing his WW1 uniform. From the hat badge (a lion) I think he was in the Kings Own regiment. I have looked up the Medal table and found a Harold Scott Sjt which matches the picture as he has three stripes but he is down as being in the R Lanc R number 22718. He then gets transfered to the Lab Corps number 583798 and then back to R Fus GS/111501. Where can I find the information to fill out this picture . I have been on the long trail and had several dead ends as well as Ancestry .co.uk where I found the medal info.
PhilB Posted 4 August , 2010 Share Posted 4 August , 2010 I assume you are aware that the Kings Own is the Royal Lancaster Regt?
