S R Chalk Posted 31 July , 2010 Share Posted 31 July , 2010 Hello All, I am planning to visit my Great Uncle's War Grave in September. He was Pte Thomas Chalk 1/7th DLI and died at the Somme 26/03/18 at the Battle of Rosiers it is belived. Any help to find out how he died and exactly where as he is remembered at Brie British Cemetery, which appears to be some distance from Rosiers. Could anyone tell me why he is on the special memorial at Brie instead of Rosiers? Thanks S.R.Chalk
