Remembered Today:

Sergeant Arthur Jackson

I've come across a reference to a soldier who may be related to me and I'm trying to find out anyhting I can about him. His name was Arthur Jackson and I think he was a Sergeant. I don't know the regiment but he may have come from Liverpool. He did attend public school so it is odd that he seems to have refused a commission. The story is that he was awarded the MM which would accord with the rank. Help very much appreciated.

A big ask as you no doubt know. There are 495 matches in the MIC's for Arthur Jackson. Narrowed down to the rank of Serjeant 32 -

If you know the school he attended a post on Dick Flory's topic "British school registers and rolls of honor lookups offered"

might yield a match?
