At Home Dad

Hallo all

A simple one to answer for some!

I was told 'wound stripes' were worn on the left arm.

Is this uniform correct?

Many thanks for any assistance

hi from N Z. . My G/father served 1915-1920 ASC France .on the photo i have , he has 5 stripes on the lower right sleeve . one for each years service. on the left sleeve a good service stripe.much like a wound stripe. as he had the medal colours on his breast pocket leftside on his tunic .i guess the photo i have is 1919/ 1920

On the left arm if a stripe looks like a wound stripe, it is a wound stripe, good conduct badges were inverted chevrons.
