The following men whose medals now reside in my collection were casualties during the battle: - A-4203 L.Cpl.C.Smith,3rd Bn (Died of Wounds) - 69638 Pte.W.McAusland,26th Bn (Wounded) - 424452 Pte.W.E.Carr,28th Bn (Prisoner of War) - 436507 Pte.A.Kerr,49th Bn (Killed) - 452372 Pte.J.H.Aldcroft,58th Bn (Injured) - 106266 Pte.E.A.Hancox,1st CMR (Wounded & Prisoner of War) - 108204 Cpl.T.E.Eardley,1st CMR (Prisoner of War) - 18407 Pte.H.Wilton,CMMGBde (Wounded) - 45187 Spr.T.W.Parsons,3rd Fd Coy,CE (Wounded) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
