I would be very much obliged if somebody could help me with any details surrounding L/Cpl Rowe. Rowe is listed as died on 23 December 1917. His name is recorded on the wall at Tyne Cot as having no known grave. Does anybody know what the 8th Bn. were doing at this time, and exactly where they were fighting. I can find no history of the Battalion between landing at Boulogne in 1916 and disbandment after the war.
