gentleman, could you please help me on a chap who served in 4 bns of the ox &bucks li, his name is frank perrin pte 26574. his medal roll states he served in the 2ndbn - 5th bn - 3rd bn res - and 6th bn. what i am trying to get at is given his service number when would he have enlisted , and where were the bns mentioned. this chap is a family member, alaso his mic states awarded a pair.any information most welcome , no service papers or pension papers. he later served in the home guard so i beleive. once again thank you, medalface.

My data is a little thin for the Ox and Bucks at the time that this number would have been issued, but I'd hazard a guess at August 1916.

He went to F&F 12 Dec 1916 and was wounded in 9/4/1917.

There is no date of attestation of the SOFO database. We have the number as 26374.

We also have a probale relative of his.
