Hi All

http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_detail...casualty=836255

Looking for any info on this man if possible please.

He was born in Latchford Lancashire. In 1911 he is living in Liverpool and his father is deceased.

He was awarded the MC. ( what does that mean please )

I have not checked the local press yet. Will try to do so soon.

Cheers

Ant

MC is the Military Cross, for which there may be a citation in the London Gazette. I have had a quick look, but with no result.

There are two Officer Service Files at Kew for the name HENRY N:

WO339/68491 and 103177. Likely to be the former. These files are not digital and need to be seen in situ.
