ttc123 Posted 22 June , 2010 Share Posted 22 June , 2010 Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help with any information about him or his division etc. I own the copyright to his war diary which is in the Imperial War Museum, the copyright was passed on from my godparents. He mentions in the diary about Bois des Taille near the Somme River, Fricourt, Carnoy and Vimy Ridge and the diary dates from 21 June 1916 - 14 September 1916. Any help will be appreciated Thanks Vicky

ttc123 Posted 30 June , 2010 Author Share Posted 30 June , 2010 Is there any possibility that someone could point me in the direction of the war diary for this? I have looked on the war diaries page but I can't seem to see one that matches this (unless I have missed it!!). I wanted to compare the war diary to his personal war diary. David Porter Posted 30 June , 2010 Share Posted 30 June , 2010 The War Diary for 18th Divisional Ammunition Column is at the National Archives, reference WO 95/2026 (Covering dates 1915 Aug. - 1919 Mar.). I don't think it is available online anywhere.
