Remembered Today:

Identifying a cap badge

I am researching my Great Great Uncle Frederick Taylor and would be grateful for a bit of help.

I have attached a photograph of the man in question and as I yet I know very little about him. Although the image is a bit fuzzy I was wondering if anyone could identify the cap badge and therefore which regiment he may have been in.

I have already found out so much interesting information about my Great Grandfather Pte Arthur Warrington of the Royal Welch Fusiliers but Frederick remains a mystery.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Best regards to you all

Angela

Looks like 3rd (Prince of Wales's) Dragoon Guards.

10th Royal Hussars ... Pembrokeshire Yeomanry ... Welsh Regiment ... all quite similar.

The only Frederick Taylors I can find for any of the regiments mentioned amongst the MICs are 47190 Taylor and 16644 Taylor (card noted dis 23-5-18) both serving with the RWF. There are 9 Fred Taylors. Ralph.
