robins2 Posted 22 June , 2010 Share Posted 22 June , 2010 attached scan of two badges I picked up along with some Canadian WW1 items. I believe they may be pre WW1, any help would be appreciated French inscription: HONI SOIT QUI MALY PENSE
Steven Broomfield Posted 22 June , 2010 Share Posted 22 June , 2010 I don't know what they are, but they are probably Victorian (by the crown). Incidentally, Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense is actually old French - "Evil be to he who evil thinks" is how I've always translated it. It's the motto of one of the Royal Orders (Garter?).
