Terry Posted 20 June , 2010 Share Posted 20 June , 2010 I have just picked up a trio to a fellow who lost his life on 18 Feb.,1915, and is buried at Bailleul Communal Cemetary (Nord). Does any Suffolk expert here on the forum know what the unit was up to during this time period? Cheers, Terry
connaughtranger Posted 21 June , 2010 Share Posted 21 June , 2010 Hi Terry History only notes the Battalion in trenches in front of Vierstraat in Feb 1915, no mention of activities
Terry Posted 21 June , 2010 Author Share Posted 21 June , 2010 Thanks for the information; I see that my fellow died of wounds so he may have been hit a few (or several) days earlier. Cheers, Terry
