o j kirby Posted 14 May , 2010 Share Posted 14 May , 2010 Hello Troops, My interest in the Highland regiments has taught me that the diced Glengarries usually had a leather sweatband for other ranks, but not for officers. I believe that many of the plain patterns did not have a leather band. What I am interested in is how strict are the accepted guidlines on WW1 Glengarries having the leather, and can members share any knowledge on the Glengarry and its numerous variations at the time of WW1? Any advice is of value! Cheers Owain.
